Family Life
Born in Corinaldo in eastern Italy, she relocated with her farmer parents to Nettuno, western Italy, when she was six years old. Her parents, Luigi Goretti and Assunta Carlini, had six other children: Angelo, Antonio, Mariano, Ersilia, Teresa, and Alessandro.
