Lead singer of the Scottish pop band Wet Wet Wet who has collaborated with a variety of Musicians, including Chris Difford of Squeeze.
He formed Vortex, which would later become Wet Wet Wet in 1982.
He has also released seven solo albums since 2001.
He was engaged to Eileen Catterson.
He performed "Beyond The Sea" in a live duet with George Benson in 2010.
