Small screen star most well known for playing Melody Porter in the 2017 series Live Out Loud. Also a singer, she released her debut single, "Symptoms of You," under her stage name Maya J. Her EP titled Symptoms of Life will be released in 2018.
One of her first screen appearances was in the 2014 short film Muted.
Outside of her many appearances in short films, she has guest starred on Just Life and appeared in the TV movie Micah the Asshole Ghost.
She was born in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Florida with her family at age 8. She moved back to Los Angeles to continue pursuing her career at the age of 18.
Her first role was acting in HBO's Muted with Chandra Wilson from Grey's Anatomy.
