Star forward who led the University of Connecticut to an undefeated season and NCAA Championship in 2009 and another Championship in 2010. She was selected first overall in the WNBA Draft by the Minnesota Lynx in 2011 and helped lead the team to WNBA Championships in 2011 and 2013.
She led Collins Hill High School to a Georgia state championship and was named 2007 Naismith Prep Player of the Year.
Outside of the WNBA, she played professionally for Ros Casares Valencia in Spain from 2011 to 2012 and joined China's Shanxi Xing Rui Flame in 2012.
Her mother, Kathryn Moore, raised her as a single mother. She has two sisters, Ashley and Olivia Dabney.
She and Candace Parker both won the WNBA's Rookie of the Year Award.
