North Carolina-born singer who received two Dove Awards for her contemporary Christian music and who released the album All Worth It in 2013.
She was raised as an only child in Wilson, North Carolina, though her parents fostered and later adopted other children. She went on to study at Liberty University, a Christian college in Virginia.
