Belarusian-born French Artist who was best known for "Paysage Cezannien" and other landscape paintings.
He began studying at the Vilnius Academy of Art at age sixteen. He and Chaim Soutine were lifelong friends.
He was honored posthumously when a wing of Tel Aviv's Genia Schreiber University Art Gallery was dedicated to his memory.
