Successful Egyptian singer who began his career in the 1980s. Over his more than two decade long career, he released more than two dozen albums and became known for singles like "Fakrak Ya Nassini" and "Saat Bashtak."
He made his musical debut in 1985 with the album Fel Sekka.
Outside his singing career, he has acted in numerous films and television series' like El-Rehla and Traffic Light.
He has three children, Basmala, Alaa, and Abdel Rahman.
Mai Ezzidine joined him in the cast of the 2001 romantic comedy El-Rehla.
