Palestinian television and film actress who is most recognized for roles in Ru'aa Halima (Vision of a Dreamer) and the TV series al-Taghriba al-Filastiniyya (The Palestinian Exile). In addition to acting, she has also created multiple television series, films and even a few stage plays.
She made her acting debut her freshman year in college. She holds a master's degree in Political Science from Damascus University.
Her father, Nabil, was a political activist for the Palestine Liberation Organization until his unfortunate death in 1982. Before her acting career officially started, she originally wanted to become a police officer.
She was born in Beirut, Lebanon and grew up alongside her two sisters. She married her husband in 2011; they had two daughters together.
