Irish folk singer who first rose to fame as a member of the legendary singing group Celtic Thunder. He then went on to form the duo Byrne and Kelly with his Celtic Thunder bandmate Ryan Kelly and release the debut solo EP Sensitive Souls.
It was after watching his father's band perform at a wedding at the age of six that he fell in love with music.
In 2011, he released his debut solo album titled Pale blue Jak - Faces.
His father was also a musician. During his youth he was also a member of the band Chase with his brother Paul.
He makes up one member of Celtic Thunder alongside Glee's Damian McGinty.
