Midfielder who played for the Northern Ireland national team from 1994 to 2002 and became manager of Celtic FC in 2010; spent his club career with a number of teams, most notably Manchester City from 1987 to 1990 and Celtic FC from 2000 to 2007.
He began his youth career at the age of 16 with Manchester City.
