Greek-born stage actor who received a Tony nomination for his starring role in Illya Darling, a 1967 Broadway musical. He also appeared in stage productions of Our Town, Medea, Julius Caesar, and The Seagull.
He studied acting at the National Theatre of Greece's School of Drama.
He was one of the founders of the musical group Proskinio.
He had two children with Marianna Latsis.
