She was one of the founding members of The Cardigans, along with Drummer Bengt Lagerberg and keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson.

She married author and Soundtrack musician, Nathan Larson; the two had their first child in 2010.
In addition to performing with The Cardigans, she collaborated with Danger Mouse on the track "Daddy's Gone" off of his 2009 album.
