Israeli international midfielder who won the Scottish Premiership and League Cup during the 2014-2015 season. He's also played for FC Ashdod and helped his country qualify for the 2016 UEFA tournament.
He joined Ashdod's youth club in 1997 and played with them until getting his promotion to the senior squad in 2009. He joined Celtic in 2013.
Prior to pursuing his professional soccer career full-time, he served in the Israeli Defense Forces, as is required of the majority of Israeli citizens.
He grew up in Ashdod, Israel.
He and Callum McGregor have been teammates on Celtic.
