Professional soccer player most well known as a striker fro the Watford football club and the Nigerian national team. He is also well recognized for playing for football clubs like the Lyn and Udinese teams.
He began his youth career with the Prime football club and went on to launch his senior career. He then followed with the Julius Berger football club before he was scouted by a FIFA agent.
He is a devout Christian and has donated a portion of his wages to charitable organizations geared toward helping those below the poverty line.
He was born Odion Jude Ighalo in Lagos, Nigeria.
In March 2015, he was appointed to the Nigerian national team by the newly appointed interim coach Daniel Amokachi.
