2nd round pick of the 2016 NBA draft selected by the Milwaukee Bucks, but traded to the Golden State Warriors on draft night. He won an NBA Championship with the Warriors his rookie season in 2016-17.
He helped Montrose Christian School win the National Christian School Athletic Association Division I title in his senior, and only season with the school after transferring from Christian Brothers College High School.
During his college days at UNLV, he was named Second-team All-Mountain West in 2016. He was also named to the Mountain West All-Defensive Team that same year.
He and his five siblings are the children of Jeffery and Teresa McCaw.
He would replace Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant in the starting line-up for the Warriors when either of them rested or were injured during the 2016-2017 season.
