English baker and chef who is well known as a judge on the The Great British Bake Off. He has written a number of books, including 100 Great Breads, The Great British Bake Off, How to Bake, Bread, and American Baking Competition.
He worked in his father's bakery in England before working in other bakeries. He would eventually become a head baker at a couple of hotels.
He has appeared on The Generation Game, The Heaven and Earth Show, and This Morning.
He has a son with his wife Alexandra Hollywood. He was born in Wallasey, Merseyside, England.
He previously made an appearance on The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
