Before Fame
He was a pop singer before changing course to musical theatre. He went by the stage name Paul Dean and formed Paul Dean & The Dreamers. He then became the vocalist and Pianist for The Savages before releasing two solo singles, and later signed with Robert Stigwood's Reaction Records label under the stage name Oscar.
