According to Discovery's website Rosolie survives the stunt by wearing a custom-built snake-proof suit and enters the belly of an anaconda. This stunt started gaining lots of attention on social media sites. Rosolie graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies. He runs the conservation tourism company Tamandua Expeditions and authored the book Mother of God: An Extraordinary Journey into the Uncharted Tributaries of the Western Amazon. The stunt has gained criticism from People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals. His documentary film An Unseen World won the annual short film contest Forests for People.
