Chef and owner of the restaurant Wahlburgers, an establishment which served as the setting for the A&E reality series of the same name. His first solo restaurant venture was called Alma Nove.
He worked as a caterer in high school, and after graduation, he spent time in kitchens all around Boston. He was the executive chef at Bridgeman's in Hull, MA for nine years.
He has provided food on set for two of his brother Mark's movies, Max Payne and The Happening.
He is one of nine siblings, which including actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg. He spent a lot of his childhood in the kitchen with his mother Alma.
Jenny McCarthy has appeared on Wahlburgers as the wife of Donnie.
