Champion UAAP volleyball player for the Ateneo Lady Eagles who played for the team alongside her older sister Therese Gaston.
She and her sister had been athletes their whole lives. They played basketball, football, tennis, badminton and volleyball together. They also swam and did taekwondo.
She was a student of interdisciplinary studies at the University of Santo Tomas.
She is the daughter of GAB commissioner Fritz Gaston and former beauty queen Duday Mandanas-Gaston.
She and Dennise Lazaro are both champion volleyball players for the Ateneo Lady Eagles.
