Known for her shifting political allegiances, this one-time Independent and former member of the Australian Liberal and One Nation parties formed her own political party, Pauline's United Australia Party, in 2007. During the late 1990s, she represented Oxley in the Australian Parliament.
Before becoming a Member of Parliament, she served as a councillor in Queensland's City of Ipswich.
Convicted in 2003 of election fraud, she was later acquitted of this charge.
Born Pauline Seccombe, she married Walter Zagorski and, later, Mark Hanson. She published a 2007 autobiography titled Untamed and Unashamed.
