Born Nikolai william Alexander Frederik, this member of Danish Royalty became known by the title of Prince Nikolai of Denmark, Count of Monpezat.
During his childhood and teenage years, he studied at the the Krebs School (Copenhagen, Denmark) and the Herlufsholm School (Naestve, Denmark).
In 2013, he was seventh in line to the throne of Denmark.
He and his brother, Prince Felix, were born to Prince Joachim and Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. After their divorce, the boys' parents shared custody of them.
He and Louise Windsor (born in 2003) belong to the same generation of European royalty.
