Richard Kahan was born on May 15, 1980 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, is Actor, Miscellaneous Crew, Producer. Born and raised in the beautiful open prairies of Winnipeg, Canada, Richard Kahan has been working his way through the entertainment business for over twenty-five years.Richard got his start as an actor, and went on to appear in over 100 hours of television and various films, starring opposite the likes of Dennis Hopper. In addition to his series regular role on USA Network's Emmy nominated "The 4400", Richard made dozens of television guest appearances including "The Mentalist" and "Grey's Anatomy."Richard followed his passion for writing and producing, under the wing of his mentor, prolific writer/producer Ira Steven Behr. Richard worked on Sony Television/Starz multi Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series "Outlander", writing one of the highest rated episodes of the hit series' second season.In 2017, Richard produced "Lucky" a feature film starring screen legend Harry Dean Stanton, with an incredible supporting cast including David Lynch, Ron Livingston, Ed Begley Jr., and Tom Skerritt. "Lucky" made its worldwide premier as an official selection at the 2017 SXSW Film Festival. "Lucky" has gone on to win multiple awards and critical praise, selling to Magnolia Pictures for theatrical release in the United States, as well as nearly 50 other countries across the world.In addition to his work on "Lucky" and "Outlander", Richard recently wrapped production on "The Elevator" a series he wrote on and produced, is producing the feature film "Sidecar", is adapting Christal Presley's successful book "Thirty Days with My Father", and has been hired to write and produce "Lifeline", a feature film for Academy Award nominated The Lagralane Group.Richard resides in the sanctuary city of Los Angeles.
