For his performance as Zach in A Chorus Line (1976), he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. As artistic Director of MCC Theater in New York City, he produced Frozen (2004) and Reasons To Be Pretty (2008), both of which were nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play.
