Samir Gogna, also known as Sam Y.G., is a radio and television personality known both as a host on the radio program Boys Night Out and as a cohost on the popular children's series Eat Bulaga!
In 2003, at only nineteen years old, he successfully auditioned for the Magic 89.9 Junior Jock program. His bosses would nickname him Young Guy which would become the acronym of his pseudonym Sam Y.G.
He made his television debut in 2009 cohosting Cool Center as a relationship expert.
A fourth generation Indian immigrant, his parents are Catholics from Jaipur, India. He has an older brother and a younger sister.
He has worked as a host on Eat Bulaga, a show led by Tito and Vic Sotto.
