Ice hockey player she is best known for winning the bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics representing the USA. She represented the USA for the first time at the 2005 World Championships and won her first Gold Medal.
She started playing hockey at age 5. She attended Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. She was the school record holder for points in hockey and most goals in soccer. She joined the national U-22 women's team at age 15. She attended Dartmouth College.
She was 17 years old when she played at the Olympics in 2006 making her the youngest player on the U.S. National Team. She notched 100 career points at Dartmouth College in 2009 and became the 29th player to do so.
She married Jonathan Wolter in 2014. Her daughter's name is Sophie. Her parents are Paul and Joan Parsons. Her brother is Tyler Parsons.
