She began singing at the age of two and would later begin piano lessons and songwriting at the age of eight. By thirteen she was teaching herself the guitar and into high school she would gig at festivals.
Her mother has posted song covers of Savannah's to her YouTube channel, Theresa Leighton. She has covered artists like Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, and James Bay.
Her late grandfather was one of her biggest inspirations for becoming a singer.
On The Voice, she competed against Aaliyah Rose and Anatalia Villaranda.
