Her parents divorced when she was only 1 year old and was raised primarily by her mother. In high school she ran cross country and played on the soccer team. In her senior year, she was captain of her soccer team. She lost her virginity at age 17. Although training to become a EMT Paramedic, Scarlett ventured into adult film industry by pure chance. She was scouted by Motley Models via the Internet and was offered a chance to join their agency. At first she declined, but after doing some researching on the agency and assessing her own sexuality, she contacted the agency and soon began shooting scenes.
