Barry is from Galway, and has partial Bangladeshi ancestry from her grandfather. She started her modelling career in 2010.
Barry was named as 'Someone you should know' by the Irish Independent and her career continued to climb further. In summer 2012 she was approached by US Playboy and by September 2012 she was invited to the Playboy Mansion as a guest of Hugh Hefner. She spent the following summer in Los Angeles with regular trips to the Playboy Mansion.
Barry was crowned Miss "Zip Magazine" 2014 by the readers of the Magazine.
