Jaren Merrell, or as he is more widely known, Shea Coulee, is a drag queen known for competing on the ninth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.
He studied costume design at Columbia College of Art and worked at Broadway Costume before becoming a full time drag entertainer.
He wrote, directed, and produced the short film Lipstick City about his drag persona Shea Coulee's backstory.
He grew up in Chicago, Illinois.
Both he and Charlie Hides were competitors on the ninth season of Drag Race.
