Welsh Actress known for her role as Kayleigh in Peter Kay's Car Share and the career-reviving story that came with it. Having previously retired from acting out of frustration, her friend Peter Kay cast her in the popular comedy and brought her back into the limelight.
She attended the University of Salford, where she met Kay, and proceeded to land roles in eight television shows between 1997 and 2002, including Comedy Lab and Phoenix Nights.
She was working at a call center when she was cast for Car Share. It was her first major role since 2008's Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice.
She has a daughter named Gracie with her husband Ian. Her maiden name is Foulkes.
She appeared alongside Mark Gatiss on The League of Gentleman.
