Actress who is best known for her work across the South African television industry. Her best known roles include Nomfundo in the SABC1 drama Soul City and Thandaza in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango.
At age 11, she competed in and won a national miming competition. At age 14, she made her stage debut as the understudy to the main titular character in the musical Sarafina!
In 1992, she was cast in the film version of Sarafina! where she worked alongside Whoopi Goldberg. She was also commissioned as an assistant Choreographer to Michael Jackson's then-choreographer, Michael Peters, on the film.
She was born and raised in the Meadowlands, Gauteng, South Africa.
She is also a singer, and has sung backing vocals for Billy Ocean.
