Canadian soccer midfielder who won a bronze medal in 2012 playing for her country's national team. She's also played for the Vancouver Whitecaps, Sky Blue FC, and FFC Frankfurt.
She started playing with the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2005 and joined Canada's senior national team that same year.
She played college soccer at the University of Portland, where she had success at forward despite being a natural midfielder.
She was born to Elmer and Cornelia Schmidt.
She and Christine Sinclair were teammates at London in 2012.
