He attended Mt. Eden High School in Hayward, California. He was discovered by fellow Bay Area Rapper Too Short.
He was included on The Source magazine's list of the Top 115 Hip-Hop Artists from 1988-2003.
His real name is Robert Green, Jr. He has a son.
