American actor who played the role of Michael Barlow in the television series Medium and the role of Mark Green in the television series Numb3rs. He won a 2012 Tony Award for his role as Guy in the stage production of Once.
He attended Morehead State University and later earned an MFA from the Graduate Acting Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Also a singer, he provided vocals for the song "A Thousand Years, Pt. 2," by Christina Perri.
He was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He has been in a relationship with TV personality Michelle Beadle.
