Sumanth is a partner in the family owned Annapurna Studios as well as the film production company SS Creations. He has starred in the films Prema Katha, Yuvakudu, Pelli Sambandham, Ramma Chilakamma, Snehamante Idera, Satyam, Gowri, Soggadu, Dhana 51, Maha Nandi, Godavari, Chinnodu, Madhumasam, Classmates, Boni, Galconda High School, Raaj, Daggaraga Dooramga, and Emo Gurram Egaravachu. Sumanth has served as a brand ambassador for the Hyderabad Skykings of The American Football League of India ELFI.
