Guyanese cricket star who made his first-class debut for the Guyana cricket team at the young age of 16. He also played for the West Indian cricket team in its 2022 tour of Australia.
He attended the Marian Academy in Georgetown, Guyana.
He was the WICB/WIPA U19 Cricketer of the Year for 2013. He plays as an opening batter. In 2023, Tagenarine was selected to West Indies A team for first class matches against Bangladesh. During the final match in the series, he scored half centuries in both innings. He is the second-highest run scorer in the series. He scored 275 runs in five innings including three half centuries with the average of 68.75.
His father Shivnarine Chanderpaul also played for the Guyana cricket team.
He and Clive Lloyd have both played for Guyana.
