Japanese Photographer and designer who created the Japanese company Aqua Design Amano and published a three book series called Nature Aquarium World about freshwater aquarium plants in 1994.
He started visiting and taking photos of tropical rainforests in Amazon, Borneo, and West Africa in 1975.
He won the Fuji Film Nature Photo Contest, Grand Prix in 1992.
He grew up in a Japanese family in Niigata, Japan.
