Australian actor most famous for playing Detective Mick Peters on the series Division 4 from 1969 to 1975. He later played Doug Willis on the soap opera Neighbours from 1990 to 1994 and stepped into the role once again in 2014.
He got his start in acting in 1961 with recurring appearances on the series Consider Your Verdict.
He played Captain Hook in the stage musical Peter Pan in the 90's.
He was previously married to Marlene Saunders and Sue McIntosh. His son is Neighbours actor Jason Donovan.
He co-starred with actor Andrew McFarlane on the police series Division 4.
