He started preforming on the streets of San Francisco and appeared in The 8th Annual Young Comedians Show in 1983. In 1991 he hosted the variety and game show Ruckus. He appeared on The Weird Al Show in 1997 and in the 2009 TV movie 6 Beers of Separation and the 2005 documentary The Aristocrats. Jonathan has appeared more than 20 times on Fox's Comic Strip Live and has specials on Comedy Central. He authored Every Trick in the Book which is a how-to on practical jokes. In 2008 he opened the Amazing Underground in Las Vegas which is a members only drive-in movie theater. Jonathan started performing regularly in Las Vegas at the Harmon Theater and has been performing in Vegas since 2001. He won the Best Comedian award for Los Vegas Review Journal and was named Comedian of the Year by Nevada Magazine. He is known for the use of gore in his shows and his headband. Jonathan married performance artist Anastasia Synn in June 2014.
