Then earned M.B.A at Columbia University. Joined Bear Stearns in 1988, was colleague of famed investment banker Ace Greenberg. In 1998, Thomas set up a hedge fund with its headquarters in New York. The company's Business focus on global risk arbitrage, equity special situations and credit opportunities.
