Former linebacker and defensive end who was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame for his play at Syracuse University. He went on to play in the NFL from 1986-1993 for the Atlanta Falcons.
He began his football career in Liverpool, New York.
He went on to become a best-selling author after his playing career was over.
He raised five children.
He co-hosted "Find My Family" with Lisa Joyner, who is the wife of actor Jon Cryer.
