About
Former NFL quarterback that was originally taken as a seventh round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2000 NFL draft. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Tennessee Titans, and the Arizona Cardinals during his seven year NFL career. After retiring from football in the year 2010, he began his professional coaching career.
He initially began his collegiate football career at Scottsdale Community College. He later transferred to Louisiana Tech University.
As a senior, he broke Louisiana Tech's single season record for passing yards and passing touchdowns. He ultimately finished his collegiate career with the second most touchdown passes in NCAA history at the time. He was later inducted into Louisiana Tech's Hall of Fame in the year 2007.
He lives along with his wife Allison and their children. He is a native of Ohio.
He was teammates with Jeff Garcia as a member of the San Francisco 49ers during the early 2000's.
