Widely known for his tenure as host of the Love It or List It series on The W Network in Canada and HGTV in the US. He premiered as host on The W Network in January 2013.
He first worked in TV as a teen actor on the Nickelodeon series Fifteen. He subsequently studied acting in London, England.
He had minor roles as an actor in the early-2000s on such series as Smallville, Dark Angel, and Night Visions. In 2014, he served as a guest host for the Canadian breakfast series The Morning Show.
He married his wife Rebecca in March 2007. They have one son and one daughter together.
He has appeared as a co-host on Love It or List It alongside fellow realtor Jillian Harris.
