Actor most famous for his roles in many beloved Disney films, including Old Yeller, The Shaggy Dog and Swiss Family Robinson. He also played Joe Hardy on the TV series The Hardy Boys: The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure.
He was born in Louisville and made his acting debut in a stage production of Ah, Wilderness! in 1954.
He was officially inducted as a Disney Legend in October 2006.
