Fubon Financial Holdings, which he founded, is led by his sons Daniel and Richard. In 2014 Fubon completed the roughly $900 million acquisition of First Sino Bank in mainland China. The Tsais are also investors in Taiwan Mobile, a mobile phone service provider, and Fubon Multimedia Technology, a TV shopping business. Tsai Wan-Tsai's nephew, Tsai Hong-Tu, chairs Cathay Financial Holdings.
