Jamaican-born Canadian former American football defensive tackle who played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League in 2016 after spending multiple years in the NFL.
He attended London South Collegiate Institute in Canada. He had wanted to go to Michigan State University but failed to qualify due to academic transcript issues. He then enrolled at Milford Academy, a preparatory school in New York. He later returned to Ontario and played for the University of Western Ontario. He was taken in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Chargers (back then the San Diego Chargers).
He was the first Canadian university player to be drafted by the NFL as an underclassman. Two years later, he was taken by Montreal in the CFL draft. After retiring from football he cofounded the Fire & Flower Cannabis Co.
