Segura was born in Mexico City, but she later moved to first Texas, graduating from Southwest Texas State University in 1997, and then moving to New York City, where she studied in the Atlantic Theatre Company. She has participated in such films as Star Wars Episode II, Club Dread, Dame tu Cuerpo, and A Proposito de Alexa. She currently lives in Mexico City.
