Belarusian tennis player who the 2012 and 2013 Australian Open titles, the first Belarusian to win a singles Grand Slam. She won bronze at the 2012 Olympics.
She was inspired growing up by Steffi Graf. She made her professional debut in 2003.
She considered quitting tennis in 2011, but was talked back into playing by her grandmother.
She had a son in 2016 with Billy McKeague, but they split up in 2017.
She and Max Mirnyi won an Olympic gold medal in mixed doubles in 2012.
