Television Actress famous for her starring role in the South Korean television series Queen In-hyun's Man. She is also notable as the DJ of the popular Korean radio program Let's Crank Up the Volume.
She initially pursued a career as a pop singer; however, after struggling with the choreography required of K-pop girl group members, she shifted her focus to acting and soon landed a role on the hit MBC series High Kick Through the Roof.
Her portrayal of Im Ah-young on the SBS series Secret Garden earned her a Baeksang Arts Award and a Korea Drama Award nomination.
She spent her early years in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. From 2012-2014, she was romantically involved with her Queen In-hyun's Man co-star Ji Hyun-woo.
